Honestly, this little machine has been a lifesaver for our house. The sound quality is clear and doesn't have that annoying robotic loop sound that some cheap ones have. It does a great job drowning out the street noise outside and our dog barking downstairs. Super lightweight too, so we took it on our last weekend trip and it worked like a charm. Definitely glad I picked this up
